Our Story

Meet the maker, Lina Escobar, lover of all things artisanal and handmade!

Lina started her journey with Sweet Aurora after falling in love with candle making. As her passion grew, her interest expanded and her goal became to bring a line of handmade candles, home scents, bath and body products that were made consciously.  We believe that the power of scent and the act of self-care can have a profound effect on our well-being and it is her hope that our products help you carve a little time for yourself.

There are two core elements at the heart of Sweet Aurora: We believe in design simplicity and affordable elegance. We strive to create aesthetically pleasing, gentle and well-made products, designed to remain utilitarian, so you feel comfortable incorporating them into your daily routine. As such, you will find that our soaps are minimalistic in design, contain only a small amount of natural colorant and are void of heavy dyes. We also hand cut and bevel each soap bar, so they fit comfortably in the palm of your hands. They are also tastefully scented, so you receive that sensory experience, but do not leave the shower with an overpowering scent that will interfere with your perfume or other body care products. We carry the same intentionality to our candles and home scent products. We only use the cleanest ingredients and adhere to a rigorous testing process. We truly believe that less is more, especially when it comes to home scents, bath and body products!
